Veuve Clicquot Carnaval
CLIENT: VEUVE CLICQUOT | 📍 miami, florida
Context: For a third consecutive year, 3,000 Miamians and 350 VIP gathered in Miami's Museum Park to enjoy a day of Veuve Clicquot in its annual Carnaval celebration. Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima co-hosted the festivities, which featured over 100 samba dancers, batucada drummers, and capoeira performers. Guests enjoyed Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Veuve Clicquot Rich, Veuve Clicquot Rosé, and specialty cocktails along with gourmet bites from some of Miami's favorite food trucks. Swaying to the beats and soaking up the sun, fashionable attendees sipped champagne and took Insta-worthy photos with the feathered hashtag, #vccarnaval.
Design Direction: For this stylish daytime event, we designed multiple of photo opportunities that combined the Veuve Clicquot aesthetic with hints of carioca flair. For example, the step and repeat took inspiration from the colorful arched colonnades that define the streets of Cuba integrated with a backdrop of Veuve Clicquot champagne bottles. The hashtag monument is covered in feathers, which are largely used in traditional Carnaval headdresses and costumes. Our multilevel stage was designed to be viewed from all sides to make the traditional Carnaval performances even more dynamic and interactive for our guests. A strategic BOH layout was just as important as the design of the event to best serve the FOH flow of events.
