Google Summer Travel 2024

Design Direction: As travelers begin to explore more remote and off-beat destinations, this year’s travel event took inspiration from the Blue Lagoon-hued, adventure-seeking spirit of Reykjavik.

Once checking in with a ferry ticket and disembarking from the port, guests were led to various demo stations in the form of a visitor center, outdoors shop, Icelandic wool boutique, and a variety shop filled with local goods provided everything you’d seek to plan an expedition to the Northern Lights. At the end of the experience, guests were invited to relax with a hand massage, evoking a sense of coastal calm by turquoise waters.

Google Summer Travel 2023

Design Direction: Travel takes on a old-world spin with vintage travel stamps in a soft watercolor style. The color palette was sampled from key symbols of this year’s top European destinations: trolleycar red, topiary green, London Bridge blue, Trevi fountain marble, and the toasted shade of a Parisian croissant.
